kanaji thakor elected as Ahmedabad Mayor

Today , BJP made announcement of an OBC candidate Kanaji Thakor as Mayor of Ahmedabad and Dr Kalapana Bhatt as deputy Mayor.

Kanaji Thakor is a 3 time councilor from the Madhupura ward and Dr. Kalpana Bhatt is a councilor in her 2^nd term from Narod Muthiya ward.

There is a rotation policy for this post. As a part of this policy the term of Amit Shah as Mayor and Dinesh Mackwana as the Deputy Mayor of Ahmedabad comes to an end.

Corporation bank to provide education loan to IIMA students

IIMA ( Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad ) has tiedup wih Corporation Bank to to provide Education loan to full time students of IIMA.

Corporation bank will provided finance assistance not only for fees of IIM but also for laptops , Personal computers and other education accessories .

BSNL to Launch WIMAX in Ahmedabad City

Ahmedabad is all set to get the WIMAX technology. Ahmedabad will be the 1st city of gujarat to get such a facility. BSNL will soon provide a high speed wireless internet service to its customers in Ahmedabad.

Towers have been setup in Navrang pura area of ahmedabad.

0ther cities to receive WIMAX service from BSNL are Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Hisar, Pinjore, Rohtak and Panipat.

Aishwarya Majmudar wins Chhote Ustad

Finally. A girl from Ahmedabad Aishwarya Majmudar won the Chhote Ustad a musical reality show no Starplus. Its really a matter of proud for we amdavdis that a small school goin girl from our city has won the national level singing competition and has won hears of all Indians around the world.

As they say there is no shortcut for the success , she did a really hardwork for this. And she really deserves to be the winner of Chhote Ustad. She has been learning music from Legend GUjarati Musicians Shree Purshottam Upadhayay and Shree Aniket Khandekar. Aishwarya Majmudar made her 1st performance on the stage at the age of 3.5 years. She started learning music at the age of 5 years. Before participating in Chhote ustad this year she participated in Saregamapa on Zeetv few years back.

Aishwarya Majmudar has alreadyy signed contract with Music Dierctor Pritam for upcoming bollywood movie in which Aishwarya and Anvesha both will sing for Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora.

Aishwarya Majmudar has received blessings from Shree Lata Mangeshkarji, Usha Mangeshkarji,
Anandji bhai , narendra modi, shree Amitabh bachhan , Aadesh srivastva , Alka Yagnik and many other celebrities.

Aishwarya Majmudar is a 9 grade student of DPS ( Delhi Public School , Ahmedabad ).
