SIMI Activist Abdul Halim Arrested in Ahmedabad blasts case

Wanted in the 2002 Gujarat riots , SIMI Activist Abdul Halim was arrested on Sunday from Danilimda area of Ahmedabad after a combing operation for his alleged connections to the Ahmedabad blasts.

Abdul Halim was
wanted by the Ahmedabad Police for enticing disgruntled youths from the riot victims' refugee camps in and around Ahmedabad and taking them to Uttar Pradesh and sending youths across the border for training .

Right now Police is interrogating SIMI Activist Abdul Halim to get some clue about Ahmedabad Bomb Blasts.

Police is suspecting SIMI or Indian
Mujahideen responsible Bomb Blasts in 2 Metro Cities of India. Namely Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
