Gujarat Government has offered three sites. Mundra in Kutch district , Sanand in Ahmedabad district and one site in Surat district for setting up of Nano plant in Gujarat.

According to the various news reports , Tata has selected Sanand in Ahmedabad district as location to setup NANO Plant. The Prospective Plant location is 30 km away from Ahmedabad City , and belongs to Anand Agriculture University. The University has already transfered the rights of land to the Gujarat Government.
